Kaci Gaub, Janice Fries, Jennifer Cronen, Rochelle Quist, Betty Morrison-Franklin
This dedicated group of public servants has worked with local health departments and non-profit agencies to implement high quality home visiting programs in 19 sites across Montana. These programs improve maternal and newborn health and development, reduce child injuries and child maltreatment, reduce the use of emergency department for non-emergent care, help families experiencing domestic violence, and increase family economic self-sufficiency. Thank you to the Montana Healthy Families Team for your tireless dedication to supporting the wellbeing of our highest risk pregnant women, children and their caregivers across the state! Your efforts continue to pay rewards in generations to come.
2017 Ken Moore Community Service Award
Mike’s commitment to serving others was inspired at an early age by both of his parents. Mike has carried on their passion not just with his commitment to Healthy Mother’s Healthy Babies ,but to the Helena Community as a whole. He has spent endless hours contributing to the youth in our community as he has actively coached youth football, basketball, baseball, soccer and softball. He has also served as a judge to DECA and “We the People” high school competitions. He has always been an advocate for pro bono legal work for those in need, and until recently as an elected judge, dedicated a portion of his time to this commitment as well. We honor Mike for his commitment to serve others and his community.
