Since 1984, Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies has been working to ensure that mothers all over the state of Montana have access to the services and resources that will help them and their babies thrive. Over the years, we have been able to compile a list of resources helpful to parents and professionals to guide their journey through the perinatal period with a focus on maternal mental health.

Post-Partum Resources
Postpartum Resource Group has monthly support meetings in Whitefish and Kalispell. They also have postpartum doulas in training and are setting up a network to send doulas out to help mothers and families. This should be up and running by February.

Circle of 6 Phone App – You put in the numbers of 6 trusted people. If people don’t have 6 trusted people, we have people in the community who will stand in. The app has three options: I need you to come get me (sends a geolocating signal), I need an interruption, or I need to talk to someone.
