Season Four: A Mining City Story

In this multi-episode series of Mother Love, we shine a spotlight on five healthcare providers in Butte, Montana, who saw an opportunity to do more for the moms and babies in their care. Through determination and community collaboration, they expanded resources and services for birthing families, transforming Butte’s perinatal landscape. Over the course of three years and two pregnancies, Cass Weber experienced firsthand the benefits of these changes. Together with HMHB’s Storytelling Coordinator and Mother Love host, Emily Freeman, Cass will sit down with these nurses and other care providers to uncover what they did, why they did it, and the lasting impact of their work. We hope their stories inspire you to seek out—or create—the resources your community needs to help families thrive.
