Rural Nursing Conference

April 27 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Montana State University Mark & Robyn Jones College of Nursing and the University of Washington Rural PRO-CARE Health Equity Research Network would like to invite you to join us on Sunday, April 27th for the free hybrid Rural Nursing Workforce Conference: Planetary Events and Rural Health in Bozeman, MT. The theme for this event is the impacts of planetary events/changes in rural settings and the role of the rural nursing workforce. The agenda will include interactive sessions with speakers and panelists focusing on workforce models, educational, and practice tools to facilitate CVD care in rural settings.

We are honored to have Dr. Teddie Potter provide a keynote address titled “Planetary Events and Health: The Role of Nursing in Rural Settings”. The event will also feature a poster session; all attendees are invited to present a poster on relevant or current topics.  Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and the conference will be followed by a casual reception and hors d’oeuvres at the Museum of the Rockies.

Scholarships to support travel can be made available on a limited basis. Registration for this event is free of charge and CNE will be available. Folks joining virtually will be shared a Zoom link after registration. Please register by Monday, March 10, 2025 if you are interested in attending.
